Some of the ophthalmic instruments we offer:
A/O CLC 11705
The A/O CLC 11705 measures and examines the anterior
surface of the eye and contact lenses easily, conveniently
and accurately. It functions as a diagnostic aid in
determining the exact corneal radii, amount of corneal
astigmatism and its axis, and is also used for examining,
measuring, and fitting contact lenses.
The CLC is a one of the position ophthalmic instruments
using the coincidence method of focusing. It is rotated
only until the major axis is located. At this point,
the curvature in both the primary and secondary meridians
can be measured.
In measuring corneal curvature, readings are taken
directly from the instrument both in millimeters and
diopters.
B+L
The Bausch & Lomb Keratometer ophthalmic instrument
lets you measure corneal curvature objectively for
determining powers in the principal meridian. This
allows objective measurements whenever patient response
is not reliable. The Bausch & Lomb Keratometer
is considered the worlds most respected ophthalmometer.
Its critical precise measurements of corneal, as well
as contact lens surfaces makes the Kertometer an essential
instrument for use in contact lens fitting. It aids
in the detection of corneal changes, assures prescription
accuracy, and patient comfort.
Marco I
Dual reading knobs measure in both millimeters and
diopters. One position ophthalmic instrument. Measure
both meridians without changing optical system. Simple
vertical adjustment to fit patient. Two way adjustable
head and chin rests. Dual eye-level sighting system.
Facilitates horizontal alignment. Positive fixation.
Permits rapid measurement of central corneal area.
Coincidence focusing system. Positive measurements
to 1/8 diopter accuracy. Wide-angle eye piece with
engraved focusing scale. Precision objectives. Achromatic
lenses.
Ophthalmic laboratory technicians work in relatively
clean and well-lighted laboratories and have limited
contact with the public. Their surroundings are relatively
quiet despite the humming of machines. At times, technicians
wear goggles to protect their eyes, and they may spend
a great deal of time standing.
